Ms. Helen Murphy, age 93, on February 6, 2025. Born on July 21, 1931, in Cherokee, North Carolina.

She is survived by her beloved son, Ron Murphy; her special niece, Karen (Curtis) Hill; her great-niece, Amanda Hill; and her sister-in-law, Betty Taylor. Helen was preceded in death by her parents, Oliver and Ethel; her devoted husband, Carl Murphy; and her brother, Glen Taylor.

Helen was an active and cherished member of the Eastern Star. She was known for always keeping in touch with her friends, her love of reading the Bible, cooking, and her fondness for hummingbirds. Her warm presence and caring nature will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
