Aug 22, 2011 — Jan 3, 2025
Talking Rock
It is with broken hearts we announce the loss of Grayson Dodd, age 13, of Jasper, Georgia, who left this world on January 3, 2025. Grayson was born on August 22, 2011, and was the light of Nicholas and Ashley's lives, a precious soul who brought so much joy to all who knew him.
Grayson was a true Southern country boy through and through, with a heart as big as the Georgia sky. He was a remarkable son, the center of his parents' world, and a shining example of kindness and sweetness. Grayson was a friend to many and touched the lives of everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
His passions were as varied as they were boundless. Grayson loved to hunt and fish, play baseball, and ride his four-wheelers and dirt bikes. He had a natural talent for connecting with animals and a heart full of kindness. Grayson was known for his infectious humor and loving nature.
Music was a big part of Grayson's life. He loved to sing Treaty Oak Revival songs at the top of his lungs, filling the air with his voice, creating memories that will forever be in our hearts. Grayson cherished his friends and family deeply. He was always ready to answer the phone, day or night, and would be there for his friends whenever they needed him. No matter what.
Grayson wasn't just a friend; he was a brother to many. He had an incredible ability to support his friends through tough times and turn the hardest moments into cherished memories. His selflessness and dedication to those he loved were truly remarkable.
Grayson's joyful spirit, love for life, and unwavering loyalty will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Though his time with us was far too short, the impact he had on our lives will never be forgotten.
He was reunited in Heaven with his grandparents, Clint and Colleen Lockey, Theresa Payne and Billye White.
