Mrs. Genevieve Duran Monroe. age 41, of Ellijay, GA passed away Friday, January 25, 2019 at her residence.

Gena, is survived by her Mother: Rita Wallace; Father: Joe Beale; Step-Dad: Bob Wallace; Sons: Austin Bowden of Pooler, GA; Rylin Duran of Cartersville, Ga; Andy Wallace of Jasper, Ga; Brennen Monroe of Cartersville, Ga;  Daughters: Farren Barnette of Cartersville; Abby Monroe of Talking Rock and Zhoie Duran of Talking Rock. Sister and Brother-in-Law: Joleen and Brian Wood of Talking Rock; and Sister: Destini Beale of Tate. Step-Sister: Amy Costner of Waleska.

Gena was to have her first grand-baby in July, his name will be Maverick Shutts.

Mrs. Monroe was preceded in death by her Brother: Christopher Wallace of Jasper. Son: Kaegan Fewell; Daughter: Hope Fewell.

Visitation will begin Friday, February 1, 2019 at 8:00 AM until the Funeral Hour.

Funeral services will be held Friday, February 1, 2019 at 2:00 PM in the Cagle Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Jimmy Huggins officiating.
