Frances Mae Williamson, passed away peacefully on June 21, 2025, at the age 90. She was born on September 15, 1934, to the late John Harvey and Lillie Stanley Harvey, in East Point, Georgia. Frances lived a life filled with love, creativity, and deep devotion to her family.
She was married to the late George Williamson Jr., for 46 years. Together, they built a home full of warmth, laughter, and cherished memories. Frances was a proud mother and a deeply adored Nana. Her family was her heart, and her grandchildren brought her endless joy.
Frances had a vibrant and creative spirit. She found happiness in crafting and sewing, cooking delicious meals, and exploring yard sales for hidden treasures. She had a knack for turning everyday things into something meaningful—whether it was building mobile tables or thoughtfully decorating her home for every season. The holidays were especially dear to her, and Christmas always held a special place in her heart. Her love, warmth, and joyful nature will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, creativity, and unwavering love.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Ashley Rick Harvey (Ricky) and three brothers and three sisters.
Her absence will be deeply felt by her surviving family, daughters, Marie (Ray) Peters, Shelia Hedgpeth, grandchildren, Melissa (Allen) Weeks, Justin Harvey, Tyler (McKenna) Roberts, Brooke Peters and Connor Hedgpeth, and great-grandchildren, Kaedin Weeks and Riley Weeks. Several nieces and nephews and a host of family members also survive to cherish Frances' memory.
A memorial service honoring Frances' life will be held at a later date.
