Emolise Carver, age 87 of Ludville Community, passed away Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at Wildwood Health Care.

Emolise is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Ted Long of Big Ridge Community, Lonnie & Dawn Fountain of Ludville Community, and Donnie & Audrea Fountain of Jerusalem Community; daughters and son-in-law, Vivian Hightower of Ludville Community, and Vickey & James Chastain of Fort Payne, AL; daughter-in-law, Judy Long of Big Ridge Community; eighteen grandchildren; twenty-eight great grandchildren; twenty-six great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her son, Larry Long, and son-in-law, David Childers.

Visitation is Sunday, January 8, 10:30 am until 8:00 am, and Monday, January 9, 9:00 am until the funeral hour.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Monday, January 9, 2023 at Cagle Funeral Home Chapel, with Steven Chastain officiating.

Interment will be at Ludville Church of Jesus Christ Cemetery, following the funeral service.

Pallbearers: Jeff Holmes, Jonathan Chastain, James Lumpkin, Nate Lumpkin, James Long, Chris Martin, and Riley Long.
