Mrs. Emiline Burgess, age 85 of Jasper, passed away Wednesday, July 13, 2022 at her residence.

Mrs. Burgess is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Doug & Yvonne Burgess of Jasper, Terry & Pam Burgess of Jasper, and Eddie & Renee Burgess of Jasper; daughters and sons-in-law, Deb & Larry Turner of Jasper, and Kim & Jamie Garrett of Jasper; brother, Kenneth West of Jasper; eleven grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude Burgess; sisters, Arnola Mathis, Leola Padgett, Vera Honea, and Cleo Honea.

Visitation is Friday, July 15, 11:00 am until 9:00 pm and Saturday, July 16, 8:00 am until the funeral hour.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Saturday, July 16, 2022 at Sharp Top Baptist Church, with Rev. Harold Cantrell, Rev. Nathan Smith, and Rev. Grant Wade officiating.

Interment will be at the church cemetery following the funeral service.

Pallbearers: Jeff Padgett, Ronnie West, Mike West, Tony Tippens, Chris Tippens, and Don Mathis.
