Obituary

Elizabeth Ann Schoeff, 65, of Jasper, Georgia, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of intellect, elegance, and deep appreciation for beauty in all its forms. A gifted attorney and passionate advocate, Elizabeth brought grace and determination to every endeavor, earning the respect of colleagues and the admiration of those who knew her.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Elizabeth was a woman of rich interests and vibrant spirit. She found joy in the company of her beloved horses, the quiet companionship of her dogs, and the transformative power of art. She cherished trips to The High Museum of Art in Atlanta, where she and her husband, David Freeman, shared countless afternoons immersed in creativity and culture.

Her heart belonged to the Biltmore House in Asheville, North Carolina—a place that stirred her imagination and reflected her love for history, architecture, and timeless beauty.

Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents, whose influence shaped her strength and compassion. She leaves behind her devoted husband, David Freeman, who stood by her side through life's many chapters.

A celebration of Elizabeth's life will be held at a later date, where family and friends will gather to honor her memory, her passions, and the indelible mark she left on the world.

Her legacy lives on in the love she gave, the art she admired, and the lives she touched.
