Elaine Glass

Elaine Glass, age 56, of East Ellijay, Georgia, passed away on Monday, May 18, 2026, at her residence. She was born in Canton, Georgia, to Elbert Crowe and Betty Jean Jones Crowe.

Elaine is survived by her loving husband of 10 years, James; son, Tommy Young; daughter, Amanda Neal; stepson, Eric Glass and his wife, Natasha; and her cherished grandchildren, Brayden Young, Aubrey Garrison, Preston Gregory, Alyannah Neal, Bailey Green, Brian Green, Mikalya Glass, Erica Glass, Brandon Glass, and Brooklynn Glass; brother James Padgett and wife Ann; sister Wanda Kay Patterson; sister JoAnn Newberry and husband Billy; brother Wayne Padgett and wife Teresa; sister Mildred Blackwell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Ashley Gilreath, grandson Richie and sister Martha Jean Padgett. Elaine loved shopping, enjoyed life to the fullest, and treasured time with her grandchildren. She will be remembered for her outgoing spirit.

The family will receive friends at Cagle Funeral Home on Friday, May 22, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., and on Saturday, May 23, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. until the 12:00 noon funeral service in the Robert A. Cagle Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Lake Forest Memorial Park in Jasper, Georgia.
