Mr. Eddie Lee Blankenship, age 52 of Cartersville, passed away Friday, September 10, 2021 at Piedmont Hospital Cartersville.

Mr. Blankenship is survived by his wife: Leigh Blankenship of Cartersville; daughter: Ashley Blankenship of Acworth; mother: Catherine Sue Blankenship; sisters and brother-n-law: Susan & Jeff McVey of Jasper, and Jennifer Blankenship of Marble Hill; granddaughter: Olivia Jett.

He is preceded in death by his father: Eddie Lowell Blankenship.

Visitation is Sunday, September 12, from 5:30 PM until 9:00 PM, and Monday September 13, from 8:00 AM until the funeral hour.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Monday, September 13, 2021 at Cagle Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Ben Mock officiating.

Interment will be at Lake Forest Memorial Park following the funeral service.

Pallbearers: Cody Jett, Benjamin Provost, Jonathan Elischer, Jeff McVey, Trevor McVey, Nicholas Chapman, David Hulsey, and Dawson Shoemake.

The family will accept flowers or donate to Compassion International.

Masks are recommended during the visitation and funeral service.
