Mrs. Edna Pendley, age 90 of Jasper, passed away Monday, May 23, 2022 at Piedmont Mountainside Hospital.

Mrs. Pendley was a wonderful Mother, Nannie, and friend to many, and was dearly loved by all. She is survived by her son, Grady Pendley of Jasper; daughters and son-in- law, Shirley Ledford of Ellijay, and Luteen & Terry Hitt of Jasper; twelve grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Laymon Pendley, and son, Billy Pendley.

Visitation is Wednesday, May 25, from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm, and Thursday, 8:00 am until the funeral hour.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Thursday, May 26, 2022 at Cagle Funeral Home Chapel.

Interment will be at Burnt Mountain Baptist Church Cemetery, following the funeral service.

Pallbearers: David Pendley, Harold Pendley, James Hitt, Mikey Neal, Greg Crowe, and Button Hitt.

The family will accept flowers, or donate to Wounded Warriors Project.
