Mrs. Dorothy Raynes, age 83 of Tate, passed away Friday March 3, 2017 at Pruitt Health Care in Jasper.

Mrs. Raynes is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law: Patsy & Wayne Mulkey of Dawsonville, Brenda & Kevin Williams of Jasper, Jimmie Lee Raynes of Jasper, and Janice & Danny Costlow of Talking Rock; sisters: Frankie Atkins of Jasper, Janie Moore of Canton, and Ovaline Wofford of Jasper; 10 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and several great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Saturday from 2:00pm until 8:00pm and on Sunday from 8:00am until prior to the funeral hour. The funeral service was held at 11:00am Sunday from the chapel of Cagle Funeral Home with Revs. Autry Dean and Eugene Childers officiating. Interment at Free Hope Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers that served: Brian Costlow, Brandon Raynes, Hunter Raynes, Steven Mulkey, Randy Mulkey, and Darren Mulkey.

The family accepted flowers but prefer donations to Childrens Miracle Network.
