Mr. Ricky Pruitt, of Cumming, Georgia, passed away on March 5, 2025, at the age of 62. He was born on June 5, 1962, to the late Donald Pruitt and Frances Payne Pruitt.

Ricky was a devoted family man who loved his children and grandbabies with all his heart. Christmas was his favorite time of year, even though he could never keep a present a surprise, his joy for the holiday was simply contagious. He enjoyed basketball, baseball, The Andy Griffith Show, and Eagles, finding happiness in life's simple pleasures and sharing them with loved ones. A hardworking and God-fearing man, Ricky took pride in all he did and never missed a Sunday at church. Ricky loved to make people laugh with his jokes and warm personality, making everyone feel like a friend. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him, and his love and laughter will remain in their hearts forever.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

His loss will be deeply felt by his surviving family, his wife, Sandra Pruitt, sons and daughters-in-law, Jesse (Cara) Pruitt, Chris (Megan) Pruitt, Daniel (Leann) Beavers, daughters and sons-in-law, Mindy (Charles) Chumley, Christy (Jerry) Welch, Tiffany Beavers and Amanda Beavers, grandchildren, Tensley, Karson, Anthony, Preston, Ian, Mason, Shiloh, Danny and Dalton, brothers, Dennis Pruitt, Lonnie Pruitt, sisters, Denise Pruitt and Shelia Hubbard.

The family will receive friends at Cagle Funeral Home on Friday, March 7, 2025, from 11 in the morning until nine at night and Saturday, March 8, 2025, from 10 in the morning until the service hour.

Ricky's Funeral Service will be conducted in the Robert A. Cagle Memorial Chapel on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at two o'clock with Pastoress Pricillia Pruitt officiating. Interment will follow the service at Sunrise Memorial Gardens. Serving as pallbearers will be, Kevin Pruitt, Malcomb Pruitt, Andrew Ryder, Joseph Ryder, Daniel Beavers and Anthony Otero. Honorary pallbearers will be Jesse Pruitt and Chris Pruitt.
