Donald M. "Pop" Jordan Sr., age 83, of Ball Ground, Georgia, passed away on Monday, March 30, 2026. He was born on April 27, 1942, to the late Truman Jordan, Sr. and Alma Spence Jordan.

Don was married to the love of his life, Cathy, for 50 wonderful years. Together they built a life filled with love, family, and simple joys. He was a man who enjoyed the outdoors, riding four‑wheelers, being around horses, and even caring for a pet deer in earlier years. He loved his lottery tickets and could often be heard saying, "Get me a couple tickets," but nothing meant more to him than his family. They were the center of his world.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Helen Jordan; his brothers, Truman Jordan, Jr. and Lewis Jordan; and his infant brother, Joseph Jordan.

Don is survived by his wife, Cathy Jordan; his children, Donny Jordan, Linda & Tim Theobold, Jeanene & David Laprade, Tim Jordan, and Mark & Priscilla Jordan. His 13 grandchildren and 15 great‑grandchildren will forever carry his memory in their hearts. He is also survived by his brother, Johnny & Deborah Jordan, and his sister, Mary Ann Jordan, along with many others who knew and loved him. His absence will be deeply felt.

The family will receive friends at Cagle Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, from 6 PM–9 PM, Wednesday, April 1, 2026, from 11 AM–9 PM, and again on Thursday, April 2, 2026, from 10 AM until the service hour.

A funeral service honoring Don's life will be held in the Robert A. Cagle Memorial Chapel on Thursday, April 2, 2026, at 2 PM, with Rev. Doug Taylor officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery.
