Her love for her family was fierce and unwavering, and she found some of life's greatest joys in spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Deborah Whitbeck Tarrant, age 73, of Ball Ground, Georgia, passed away peacefully on June 23, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.

Born on February 25, 1953, in Schenectady, New York, Deborah was the beloved daughter of Clifford Whitbeck and Mary Parker Whitbeck. She lived a life defined by kindness, humor, wisdom and a devotion to family.

Deborah leaves behind a family who will forever cherish her memory: her daughter, Whitney Kimber, and son-in-law, Eric Kimber; her son, William Schaffran; her treasured grandchildren, Evelyn Kimber and Barrett Kimber; and her beloved sister, Donna Johnson. Her love for her family was fierce and unwavering, and she found some of life's greatest joys in spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Deborah's home was her happy place. Beautifully decorated and thoughtfully arranged, it was the kind of home that could have easily been featured in Home & Gardens Magazine, Tiny Home Edition. Her garden, lovingly tended through the years, was a reflection of her gentle spirit and appreciation for life's simple pleasures.
