Mr. David Hall, age 61 of Jasper, passed away Wednesday, July 29, 2020 at his residence.

David built and ran his own business, Hallco, for 33 years. He was president of Grandview Lake Association, President of Mountain Area Builder's Association and President of the building committee for Jasper United Methodist Church. He volunteered as a fireman and helped with the search and rescue after the Palm Sunday tornadoes in Pickens County in 1994. He loved cats and dogs, and volunteered at K9 Rescue in Big Canoe. He loved the lake and the time at his house on Grandview Lake. His passions were fishing, grilling and his woodworking trade. He also loved the Georgia Bulldogs.

David is survived by his wife: Shirley Hall of Jasper; son: Logan Hall of Jasper; sister and brother-in-law: Thea & Dean Burke of Bainbridge, GA; sister: Donna Hall of Bainbridge, GA; sister-in-law: Cheryl Hall of Lakeside, GA; grandchild: Asher Hall; several nieces and nephews.

Due to the Covid-19 situation, a memorial service will be held at a later date. On line condolences can be made to the family.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
