Mr. Curtis Jackson, age 71, of Ellijay, Georgia, passed away on March 3, 2026. He was born on January 30, 1955, in Canton, Georgia, to the late L.A. Jackson and Josephine Williams Jackson.

In his younger years, Curtis loved drawing motorcycles and riding four‑wheelers. He carried a quiet joy for simple things and a deep love for the people around him. He was a member of Arbor Hill Baptist Church and was known for the special place he held in his heart for his nieces and nephews. Curtis remembered every birthday, made every phone call on special occasions, and always checked in when someone wasn't feeling well. He was the uncle who was always there steady, thoughtful, and full of love.

Curtis is preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Keith Jackson and Mike Jackson; and his sister, Blanche Jackson.

He is survived by his sisters, Nancy Lively, Norma (Gene) Ray, and Loretta Chastain. His absence will be deeply felt by his nieces and nephews, his family, and all who knew him.

The family will receive friends at Cagle Funeral Home on Thursday, March 5, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., and again on Friday, March 6, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until 2:15pm.

The funeral service will be held at Arbor Hill Baptist Church on Friday, March 6, 2026, at 3:00 p.m., with Rev. Rudy Tribble officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be; Jeff Lively, Jason Lively, Shayne Chastain, Chad Ray, Casey Banks and David Silvers.

Interment will follow after the service at Arbor Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
