Coye was a fine man who never met a stranger. Always helpful and dependable, he carried a smile that brightened every room. His faith was central to his life, and he devoted himself to Ludville Church of God, where he faithfully served as church clerk for 52 years. He cherished his church family and lived out his faith through service and kindness.
He was married to his beloved wife, the late Suelane Townsend Collis, for 52 years, and together they built a life filled with love, family, and devotion. Coye retired from Lockheed, where he worked diligently and took pride in his craft. A man of many talents, he loved woodworking, tending his vegetable garden, and canning the fruits of his labor. He also worked for the elections, enjoying the camaraderie of those he served alongside.
Above all, Coye loved his family deeply. He is survived by his sons Noel Collis and Joel (Diane) Collis; grandchildren Mitchell (Ariel) Silvers, Joel Tyler (Cheryl) Collis, Tori (Jeff) Busscher, Mariah (Steve) Bruce, and Luke Collis; great-grandchildren Kynslee Silvers, J.J. Sweeney, Skyler Sweeney, Rachel Busscher, Sawyer Busscher, Blayne Bruce, Maxon Bruce, Raychel Bruce, and Rylee Bruce; and two great-great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Troy (Jan) Collis.
Coye was preceded in death by his wife, Suelane, and his parents.
