Mr. Clyde Charles Jones, known affectionately as Charles, passed away on November 19, 2024, at the age of 70. Born on May 17, 1954, in Dallas, Georgia, to the late Mr. James Jones and Ms. Geneva Hammontree Jones, Charles was a beloved father, grandfather, son, brother and uncle. His family meant the world to him, and he was a constant source of love and support.

A jack of all trades, Charles had a knack for painting, carpentry, and working at the cotton mill, Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company in Cartersville, Ga., as well as the Old Blue Star Grocery store. However, his true love and passion were farming and tinkering with old muscle cars. Charles cherished his 1969 Chevelle Super Sport and always had an old car, like his 1968 Chevrolet, to work on. Charles's faith was a significant part of his life, and he loved the Lord deeply. He was also a train set collector and a dedicated "Chevy man." His love for country classics, such as Hank Williams Jr. and Waylon Jennings, was well-known, and he enjoyed attending concerts with his siblings. However, Elvis was his all-time favorite. Charles adored country cooking and savored a good cup of black coffee with two sugars. His warm personality, sense of humor, and dedication to his loved ones will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Charles' legacy of love, hard work, and passion for life will forever be remembered by his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Stanley Jones, Randy Jones, and loving nephew Cody Jones.

He is survived by his daughter, Tammy (Brian) Ivey, grandchildren, Dylan Jones, Brooke Ivey, Tiffany Ivey, brothers, Anthony Jones, Kenneth Jones, Mark (Angie) Jones, Timothy Jones, Ronnie Jones, sisters, Mae Jones, Angie Burgess, Lynn Nogradi, Machielle (Mark) Pinson and sister-in-law, Faye Jones. Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive to cherish Charles' memory.

The family will receive friends at Cagle Funeral Home on Saturday November 23, 2024, from 11 in the morning until nine at night and Sunday November 24, 2024, from 10 in the morning until the service hour.

Charles' funeral service will be conducted in the chapel of Cagle Funeral Home on Sunday November 24, 2024, at two in the afternoon with Rev. Harold Cantrell officiating. Serving as Pallbearers will be; Joey Jones, Lamar Logan, Tony Jones Sr., Brandon Jones, Chris Jones and Tony Jones Jr.

Interment will follow the service at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery.
