Charles "Jimbo" Rampley, age 75 of Fairmount, passed away Tuesday June 29, 2021 at Cartersville Medical Center.

He is survived by his sons and daughter-in-law, Jimmy Rampley of Ranger, and Ronnie & Julie Rampley of Ranger; daughters and sons-in-law: Cricket & Larry Brown of Fairmount, and Gina & James Ridings of Jasper; brother and sister-in-law: Van & Charlene Rampley of Ranger; sisters and brothers-in-law: Pearl Childers of Ranger, Connie Ratcliff of Waleska, Vona & Herman Mulkey of Fairmount, and Charlotte & William Fortner of Jasper; companion: Jackie Hightower of Fairmount; nine grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Mulkey Rampley and son, David Lamar Rampley.

Visitation is Thursday July 1, from 2:00 PM until 10:00 PM, and Friday July 2, 10:00 AM until the funeral hour.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Friday July 2, 2021 at the Chapel of Cagle Funeral Home, with Rev. Randall Chastain officiating.

Interment will be at Mountain Cemetery, following the funeral service.

Pallbearers: Justin Brown, Jeremy Brown, Andy Cornett, Matt Rampley, Jimmy Rampley, and Ronnie Rampley.
