Humphries
Jan 10, 2001 — Jan 11, 2025
With heavy hearts, we announce the loss of Chandler Humphries, who passed away on January 11, 2025, at the young age of 24. Born on January 10, 2001, Chandler's life was a blend of trials and triumphs, reflecting his resilience and determination.
Chandler was a beloved son, brother, grandson, and friend. He possessed the biggest heart and a generous spirit, always ready to help those in need. His sister, Kayla, recalls his unwavering support during challenging times and his selfless nature, always willing to give without hesitation.
Throughout his life, Chandler faced numerous challenges but always emerged stronger. He was proud of his achievements, including his mechanical skills and a bright future at the marble plant. Chandler was dedicated to his growth, sharing his sobriety with a lovely young lady, Taylor, who inspired him with her strength and hope.
His Mother, Laura, is glowing with pride for his extended sobriety and positive lifestyle, though her heart is broken. Chandler's love for life was evident in his passion for fishing, motorcycles, welding, and spending time with family. His grandfather, Ira, remembers Chandler's joy in helping others, whether it was wrenching on a vehicle, baiting hooks on a rocking tourist boat or welding in the workshop. Chandler's positive outlook and determination to succeed left a lasting impression on everyone he met. Despite the heartbreak of his loss, his family finds solace in the good memories they shared and the love that Chandler brought into their lives. His brother's heartfelt words remind us to cherish the positive moments and keep moving forward, even in the face of overwhelming grief.
His loss will be deeply felt by his family, sons, Jax and Carver, his mother, Laura Edwards, stepfather for two decades, Mikee Edwards, father, Jeff Humphries, his sister Kayla Ann Watson and fiancé Ethan Mello, brother, Anson Humphries and partner, Claire Canada, stepsister Ashley, niece, Autumn, nephew, Kohen, grandparents, Katherine and Ira Chandler, Granny Linda Edwards and Wynona Omasta.
Chandler's family thanks everyone for their love and support during this difficult time. They ask that Chandler's memory be honored by remembering the good times and the positive impact he had on their lives. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to a charity supporting addiction recovery, in honor of Chandler's journey and his ultimate commitment to living a life free from the darkness of addiction.
Chandler will forever be in our hearts, and his spirit will live on in the cherished memories of all who knew and loved him.
