Mr. Billy Joe (Pete) Vernon Jr. age 47 of Talking Rock, Ga passed away Monday November 27, 2017 at Piedmont Moutainside Hospital-Jasper.

Mr. Vernon is survived by his Mother: Heddie Mae Vernon of Talking Rock. Fiancee: Angie Waller of Talking Rock. Son and Daughter-in-Law Billy Joe & Macy Vernon of Jasper. Daughter and Son-in-Law: Amber & Bob Cornett of Jasper. Daughters: Lisa Vernon of Jasper and Ashley Vernon of Canton. Brothers: Freddie Eugene Garrett, William Clinton Garrett and Robert Lee Vernon all of Cobb County. Sister: Mildred Denise Garrett of Cobb County. Three Grandchildren and Four Nieces.

Pete is proceeded in death by his Father: Billy Joe Vernon, Sr.

Visitation will be held Sunday December 3, 2017 from 3:00pm until 10:00pm and 8:00am Monday December 4 until the Funeral hour.

Funeral Services will be held Monday December 4, 2017 at 3:00pm in the Cagle Funeral Home Chapel.
Rev. David Pruitt and Bobby Joe Morris officiating.

Internment will be at the Sweetwater Cemetery in Cherokee County.

In Lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations be made to Cagle Funeral Home to help cover funeral expenses.
