Mr. Billy H. Buchanan, age 79 of Marble Hill, passed away January 26, 2017 at Pruitt Health Care in Jasper.

Mr. Buchanan is survived by his mother: Azzie and Olen Fann of Jasper; son: Billy L. Buchanan of Marble Hill; daughter and sons-in-law: Pam & Sonny Richardson of Ball Ground and Peggy & Curtis Roland of Jasper; brother: Junior Buchanan of South Carolina; sister: Peggy Griffith of Jasper; 9 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Buchanan was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years: Barbara A. Buchanan.

Visitation will be held on Friday January 27, 2017 from 4:00pm until 9:00pm and on Saturday from 8:00am until prior to the funeral hour. The funeral service will be held at 3:30pm Saturday from the chapel of Cagle Funeral Home with Revs. Danny Baker and Curtis Roland officiating. Interment at Four Mile Baptist Church Cemetery.
