Mrs. Betty V. Turney, age 68 of Jasper, passed away Wednesday October 12, 2016 at her residence.

Mrs. Turney is survived by her husband: Doug Turney of Jasper; sons and daughters-in-law: Sammy Fowler of Macon, Justin & Jessica Bowers of Talking Rock, Austin & Sabrina Turney of Jasper, Shawn Turney of Jasper, and Brent Turney of Jasper; daughter: Carrie Fowler of Jasper; sister: Joyce Weaver of Jasper; 10 grandchildren; and several nephews.

Visitation will be held Saturday October 15, 2016 from 2:00pm until prior to the memorial service. A memorial service will be held at 4:00pm Saturday from the chapel of Cagle Funeral Home.

The family requests in lieu of flowers donations may be made to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.
