Mrs. Betty Ingram Lawson, age 83 of Nelson, passed away Tuesday August 30, 2016 at her residence.

Mrs. Lawson is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law: Jackie Roper & Jerry Burtram of Nelson and Roseanna & David Harden of Ball Ground; grandchildren: Rhonda Pope, Stephanie Ray, Amanda Prather and Logan Harden; 3 great-grandchildren; and a host of special loved ones that all called her Granny.

Visitation will be Thursday September 1, 2016 from 1:00pm until 9:00pm and on Friday from 8:00am until prior to the funeral hour. The funeral service will be held at 2:00pm Friday September 2, 2016 at Bethesda Baptist Church with Scott Pope and Steven Chapman officiating. Interment at Bethesda Baptist Church.

The family will accept flowers or make donations to Georgia Mountains Hospice.
