Mrs. Betty H. Edmondson, age 95 of Nelson, Georgia passed away in Marietta, Georgia on Thursday, April 14, 2022.

She is survived by her son, J. L. Edmondson of Jasper; granddaughter, Kelley Edmondson Beiboer, her husband and their two children; the husband of her deceased granddaughter, Alexandra Edmondson Martinez, and their three children; as well as several nieces and nephews.

For seventy years, she was the devoted wife of the late James G. Edmondson of Nelson, Georgia, until his death in December 2015, and was a loving sister to her late brothers Charles and Thomas Holcomb, and her late sister, Margaret Cagle. She was the daughter of Greeley and Jewel Holcomb.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 pm on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at the Chapel of Cagle Funeral Home, with Mr. Mike Smith of Ball Ground officiating. A private interment will be done later.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to K-9's for Warriors or to other veterans charities.
