Arvilla McKee, age 87, of Dawsonville, passed away peacefully on September 14, 2024. Born on December 23, 1936, in Dacula, Georgia, she was one of eleven children of Mr. Joe Robertson and Ms. Clarabell Knight Robertson.

Arvilla was a beloved mother and nana to eight children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She had a deep love for Jesus and cherished her time spent at church. Arvilla found joy in simple pleasures like fishing and shopping at Goodwill. She dedicated many years to cooking for children in daycare, a role she enjoyed immensely. Her warmth, kindness, and unwavering faith will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Her parents, husband, Dave Mckee, son, Floyd "Buster" McKinzie Jr., brothers, Eddie, Jerry and Kenny Robertson, sisters, Ovalene Burton and Demp Greason awaited her arrival in Heaven.

She is survived by her sons, Gary McKinzie, Jimmy (Tammy) McKinzie, David (Gloria) McKinzie, Daryl McKenzie, Jackie ( Beth) Snyder, daughters, Dianne (Randy) Merrell, Lynn (Brad) Anglin, brothers, Glen Robertson, Randy Robertson, sisters, Rhonda Potts, Freda Potts, Debroah Chumley, an abundance of grandchildren and great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at Cagle Funeral Home on Sunday September 15, 2024, from ten in the morning until nine at night.
