With a heavy heart Cagle Funeral Home announces the loss of Mr. Allen Ellis of Talking Rock, Georgia, who left this world on March 28, 2024 at the age of 33.

Allen was born on February 20, 1991 in Calhoun, Georgia to Ms. Sounya Dale Stokes. He was quiet and reserved, but he was also a fun-loving prankster, always pulling the best of jokes on his family. Allen was an Army veteran, serving two tours in Iraq and one tour in Afghanistan. After returning home after his many tours he worked in the construction business but in his spare time he enjoyed working with the chickens and tending to the other animals with his Dad. He also enjoyed shooting pool, playing video games and watching Youtube & TikTok.

Even though Allen was taken too soon, he is now in Heaven with his brother, Matthew Ellis, sister, Jessica Richards, grandparents; Larry Long, Morris Dale and Carlan Bradley.

His memory will live on with his son, James Ellis, mother and father, Sounya & James Stokes, sister, Kimberly and Eric McNemar, grandmother, Judy Long, uncles & aunts; Dan and Jessie Dale, Lisa and Raymond Cantrell, Stacey and Rodney Barnett, Amanda and Stephen Whitlow and nieces; Ericka, Chloe & Aaliyah McNemar.

A funeral service for Allen will be held Sunday, March 31, 2024, at two o'clock in the afternoon in the chapel of Cagle Funeral Home with Rev. Joseph Hightower officiating.

Interment will follow after the service at Ludville Church of Christ cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Cagle Funeral Home on Friday, March 29, 2024 from two o'clock in the afternoon until nine and Saturday nine in the morning until nine at night.
