Johns Creek
Aaron D. Finesse, age 39, of Johns Creek, Georgia, born in Atlanta, passed away peacefully on April 16, 2026, surrounded by his loving family in Johns Creek.
Born on June 8, 1986, to Ms. Victoria Bennett, Aaron grew up in the local community and was a proud graduate of the Centennial High School Class of 2004, where he was an accomplished athlete, competing in multiple sports. Following graduation, Aaron attended college briefly and ultimately answered the call to service by enlisting in the United States Army. He was primarily stationed in Arizona, where continued his education, specialized in Military Intelligence and Systems Engineering, serving with distinction and technical expertise.
Aaron was a son, brother, father, grandson, cousin, nephew and uncle. Aaron is survived by the light of his life, his beloved daughter, Aliyana Ariah-Lynn Finesse. He also leaves behind his devoted mother, Victoria Lynn Bennett; his loving brother, Kyle B. Segar; his dedicated cousin, RaJeah Knight; his stepfather Terry W. Bennett; grandfather, Clifford Ramer, his half-siblings (3 brothers and 1 sister), and a host of cherished extended family which includes friends and neighbors.
The Finesse family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude to the many organizations that played a vital role in the last 6½ years of his life, Wounded Warrior Project, Tunnel to Towers, Neuro-Community Care, Johns Creek VA, and Paralyzed Vets of America. We would also like to thank his amazing Case Manager, Lisa Gonzalez and the many doctors, nurses and nursing assistants who provided compassionate care to Aaron throughout his illness.
A Celebration of Life will be held later, near his birthday. In accordance with the family's wishes, they kindly request that no flowers be sent at this time. Instead, donations may be made to Aaron's honor with Wounded Warrior Project and/or Tunnel to Towers , both organizations which have supported the Finesse family immensely over the years, or to Ali's college fund .
Friends and extended family may contact the family at their respective residence. Plans for a formal service are being organized, and details will be shared later.
