Mr. Jack Howard, age 86 of Jasper, passed away on Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at Piedmont Mountainside Hospital. Visitation was held at Cagle Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 28th from 7PM to 10PM, Thursday, July 29th from 8AM to 10PM and Friday, July 30th from 8AM until the Funeral Hour. Funeral Services were held at 4PM on Friday, July 30, 2010 at the Chapel of Cagle Funeral Home with Reverend Ben Howard, Jr. officiating. Interment followed at Sunrise Memorial Gardens. Serving as Pallbearers were: Terry Howard, Timmy Howard, Mickey Howard, Donnie and Kenny Byess and Gary Young.
Survivors include his Wife: Edgel Howard of Jasper; Sons and Daughter-In-Law: Wayne and Deborah Howard of Panama City Beach, FL and Greg Howard of Jasper; Brothers: Ernest (Pap) Howard, Clifford (Crook) Howard and Billy Howard, all of Jasper, Fay Howard of Tate, George Howard of Nelson and Reverend Ben Howard, Jr. of Dawsonville; Sisters: Stella Mae Mulkey of Dawsonville, Jeannie Howard and JoAnn Hayes of Jasper and Lois Howard of Canton; Several Nieces and Nephews. Mr. Howard was preceded in death by his Parents: Ben Sr. and Eva Brown Howard, Brothers: James and Homer (Fuzz) Howard and a Sister: Mary Lou Bowers.
The Family did accept flowers, but would prefer donations to help with Funeral Expenses.
Cagle Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
