Mrs. Ora Lee Padgett, age 89 of Jasper, passed away on Saturday, July 24, 2010 at Piedmont Mountainside Hospital. Visitation was held at Cagle Funeral Home on Saturday, July 24th from 6PM to 10PM, Sunday, July 25th from 8AM to 10PM and Monday, July 26th from 8AM until just prior to the Funeral Hour. Funeral Services were held at 2PM on Monday, July 26, 2010 at Sharptop Baptist Church with Reverends Aurty Dean, Matt Foster and Harold Cantrell officiating. Interment followed at Sharptop Baptist Church Cemetery. Serving as Pallbearers were: Shane, Dolphus, Clay, Andy, Edwin and Steven Padgett, Michael Holmes and Jimmy Barnhill.
Survivors include her Sons and Daughters-In-Law: Charles and Teresa Padgett of Jasper, Larry and Janice Padgett of Greenwood, SC, Jerry and Brenda Padgett, Joe Padgett and Neal Padgett, all of Jasper; Daughter and Son-In-Law: Wilma Dean and James Barnhill of Trustville, AL; Sister: Cora Lee Pearson of Tate; Sister-In-Law: Margie Reece of Jasper; 18 Grandchildren, Several Great-Grandchildren and Several Nieces and Nephews. Mrs. Padgett was preceded in death by her Husband: William Olie Padgett, Sons: Grady and Claude Padgett and a Daughter: Frances Posey.
Cagle Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
